What is Zen Arts Group?
ZAG is a house concerts group that was created in 2014 in North East Seattle.
We gather in an intimate setting to offer and share the experience of a house concert. The intention is to support artists and to bring people together in a friendly environment to enjoy music, each other’s company, and to feel whatever the music may bring for us. Let’s co-experience and have the magic happen!

Why “Zen Arts Group”?
"Zen" because we hope that the music experience here and the warm house setting will bring you peace of mind and balance. There is no religious association to this group, but we value mindfulness, compassion, and the benefits of meditation. Listening to music here can allow you to explore meditative states if you wish.
"Arts" because we value all artistic forms and expressions rather than just music. We welcome proposals to offer music but also other artistic performances. We have hosted comedy as well in the past. But definitely we have been mostly offering music shows.
"Group" because this started as a Facebook ‘group’, and ZAG also alludes to the possible ZIG-ZAGs that life offers...
