The ZEN ARTS GROUP is happy to present Lore Filgueira Group. Join us for an evening of tango music from Buenos Aires-born vocalist Lore Filgueira and a group of amazing musicians, including Ben Thomas (Bandoneón), Jeff Norwood (Contrabajo), and Gabe Hall-Rodrigues (Piano). Lore performed Brazilian music before delighted audiences in Buenos Aires for over ten years before arriving in Seattle shortly before the pandemic, and Ben, Gabe, and Jeff are well-known icons of the local music scene. Missing her home country, Lore pivoted while in Seattle to performing Tango music as a way of bridging the gap between her native country and her new home in the Pacific Northwest. Lore loves sharing authentic tango music, which is the most significant Argentine contribution to the music scene. The Lore Filgueira Group has performed at several venues throughout Puget Sound and has been received with great enthusiasm. You’re in for a memorable evening!
